Have you ever seen something get sent out, beauty gurus try it, rave about it, and you think it seems too good to be true? So then you have to try it and figure out for yourself if this is as life changing as they say? Yeah? Always. Same here - I'm so intrigued by product reviews and so it's no surprise that I went out and grabbed this the second I saw it in a PR unboxing. Let me go a little more into detail... I don't think it's any secret that I'm absolutely OBSESSED with lipsticks. My collection is ever growing, and I still don't have all the shades.... it's shocking, really. You'd think I could make a rainbow out of my lipsticks - and while I can, it's never enough. I'm continually hunting down lipsticks of all sorts just to find "the one". The one that's my color, my style, the finish I like, has an amazing formula, and so on. Well, what if I told you I found a 2 in 1 lipstick??? I know, I'm sounding like an adver...

If I had to choose only one beauty product to have for the rest of my life, it would be lipstick. I have been absolutely obsessed with lipstick ever since my mom handed me a ruby red Revlon lipstick when I was younger. As I got older, I was an avid collector of Lip Smackers and just had to find them all. One thing led to another and now I have a giant collection of lipsticks.  With that being said, f you know me, you know why I'm excited. I absolutely love Jeffree Star Cosmetics. The Velour Liquid Lipsticks are incredible, the highlighters are stunning, and the eyeshadow palettes... amazing. That's why I was extremely happy when I saw that Jeffree Star Cosmetics released two lipstick bundles for their summer collection. One includes all 8 Velour Liquid Lipstick shades and all 5 Lip Ammunition shades for $195, and another called the You. Better. Work. bundle which contains just the 8 Velour Liquid Lipsticks for $105. Because I'm not the biggest fan of the Lip Ammunition...

Real talk: I've actually never watched the Beauty & the Beast movie... I've watched the theatrical performance, though! I'm certainly missing out, and I know this, but after the spectacular performance I saw of "Be Our Guest", I don't think the Disney movie will compare. Fireworks don't shoot out of the TV like they did on the stage. I'll give it a chance at some point. What I do know is that Beauty & the Beast is timeless, and I'm sure the remake had to happen for a reason. I can't exactly wrap my head around Emma Watson playing anything except Hermoine, but what I can get behind is the gorgeous makeup collection that Lorac released to celebrate the movie. You know what's really convenient about living 3 miles from your nearest Sephora? You can ask your boyfriend to take you at almost any makeup inconvenience. This time, it was a case of "Babe! I'm doing this makeup look and I need a lip color to go with it! I'm thinking a vamp red or berry!" Unlike most, Vlad is actually very enthusiastic about going to makeup stores. He tends to find crazy and unique products better than I can, and usually I wind up purchasing them. Unfortunately, I didn't take time to play with the Boscia Charcoal Jelly Ball like he does every time it's out on display, I went straight to the lipsticks. I had a list of specific lipsticks to check out - it was an in-and-out sort of deal. First I'd look at the Anastasia Beverly Hills lippies, then Smashbox, then Huda, make my decision, then leave. Of course, with my eyes gravitated towards sparkly eyeshadows and weird masks (much like a bird with shiny things) we spent the bet...

It is most definitely midnight when I'm writing this. I managed to get my boyfriend to clean out his workshop and let me tell you, it looks fantastic. I'll be doing edits to this site as I progress with blogging - for now, I'm focusing on making it more mobile friendly. I'm very sorry that this wasn't done before I launched my blog. There's also now a comments section I'd love for you to check out! Since my blogs don't allow for commenting, you can leave your feedback there. :) I just recently discovered the world of high-end skincare and the wonders it can do. Being a girl with combination-oily skin that's also extremely sensitive, it's hard for me to find *the right* products. My skin is also very keen on adapting quickly to products, which is unfortunate because I find myself continually purchasing new skincare at least once a month. Lucky for me, this find originally came to me in a 100 point Beauty Insider purchase back in January.....

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited about this review. To celebrate the launch of my blog as well as my progression on Instagram, Vlad and I decided to take to Sephora and pick up a couple of new products for reviews. I had heard from somewhere that if you ask nicely about what they have in the back and there are no heavy regulations surrounding it, you can sometimes score new release products early. Of course, I decided to try this out for myself. I asked an employee if they happened to have the new Kat Von D Shade & Light Glimmer palette (Due to release 7/11/17), and she was happy to show me the stock as well as the tester. By the time I was about to leave the store, I saw a gaggle of employees swatching the product. One even turned around to tell me "Oh yeah, we're just over here in love with your new palette!
