DRUGSTORE FAUX MINK LASHES??? - Mini-Haul & Reviews

How many of you are lash ADDICTS? I just discovered the world of false lashes not too long ago, when I realized my looks needed a little more "extra-ness" (because adding glitter and calling it a day was just not enough for me). As I was falling deeper and deeper into a lash-hole that I honestly couldn't seem to get out of, I noticed one thing - to get those luxurious Instagram-Quality lashes, you'll likely have to spend upwards of $25-$30 per pair. Obviously still as a beginner with lashes, it's just not in my budget to spend all of that on something I'll likely be destroying and tossing. I think the most I've ever spent on lashes is $15 on my House of Lashes x Sephora Collection Cécile pair, and let me just say - they are my holy grails. The style is complimenting to every look that I create, and because I've been using them with almost every look (seriously, you can check my Instagram  @Lys_Glitz  and see just how much I love these lashes),

LEAKED NUDES - My Top 5 Nude Lipsticks

Honestly - who doesn't love a good nude? I know that I used to be out of the majority and hate them. It wasn't anything to do with how they looked on other people, it was how they looked on me. For the longest time, I could NOT pull off a nude lipstick to save my life. But I realized that it takes a little digging to find exactly what you want, so I did exactly that and found a pile of beautiful nude lipsticks that have changed my life! In fact, I found so many that I was able to take them and compile a list for someone who had just as many struggles as me in finding the perfect nude lipstick Here are my 5 nude lipsticks that I couldn't live without! 1. Anastasia Beverly Hills - Matte Lipstick (Buff, $18) I swear, there is no lip "stick" formula that I've been more in love with than I have this ABH one. Buff is an absolute showstopper with rich pigment, one swipe coverage, and a long wear time. The color is a beautiful rose-nude that can add tha

RETAIL THERAPY OVERLOAD - August Favorites

I feel as though no matter what happens, I'm always going to want more when it comes to makeup. "Best lipstick ever?" Well sign me up, but I want this other lipstick too. "MIRACLE FACE MASK??" Great, I also want this other one. Long story short, I spend so much time looking for the next best grab that I often forget to give notice to the makeup that I already have that I've been absolutely in love with this month. I figured with all of the constant hype about the next best thing, I would take a minute to wind down from my obsession with makeup hunting and acknowledge what beauty products have got me through August that I totally recommend if you haven't tried them already. 1. Milk Makeup - Blur Liquid Matte Foundation ($40) If you've read my previous post on this foundation, you already know how much I love it. Influenster was sweet enough to send me two bottles of the new Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation to try and review for fr

LIFEPROOF LIPSTICK??? - LipSense Review & MEET JODIE

Sometimes, I wake up to some pretty crazy DMs and e-mails from distributors in the Multi-Level-Marketing business. "You look BEAUTIFUL - buy my product!" "Be a tester for this really crazy trial that we don't mention you get charged for later!" The list goes on and on.. I've heard every speech there is and every excuse to get me to buy, but I continually said no due to the almost repetitive vibe that came off of the distributors. Bottom line, they were focused on making a sale and not speaking to the need of the customer. Soliciting at its finest, I suppose. As someone studying multi-million dollar business management and  seeing the unethical and unprofessional marketing ploys that these distributors held, I became appalled quickly. With the continuous scripts being sent in my direction, I decided it was time to turn away from MLM companies and closet them until another blog decided to take the bait and review the products, get sucked into the scheme

TURN 1 ITEM AT SEPHORA INTO A HAUL! - Tips & Secrets to Get the Most Value for Your $$$

If you're regularly reading my blog, you probably are just as addicted to Sephora as I am and know exactly what to do to get the most value out of your purchases. However, there's still so many people who are new to Sephora that maybe don't know all of the ins and outs of purchasing products and getting the crazy number of freebies and fun sized goodies and want to get in on the secrets of Sephora. This post will be geared towards those who have just started purchasing high end products at Sephora, those who still don't know everything there is to know, or anyone who needs a refresher on all the great deals that you can get involved on during your Sephora trips. It's a given that I'll be stepping in to the mall to find the newest, craziest, most raved about, and innovative makeup on the high-end market at least once a week. This can obviously rack up quite a bill, but with the right know-how, you can make your dollar go much farther than you'd expect.

MAGICAL LIPSTICK?? - Ciaté London Glitter Flip Liquid Lipstick Review & Swatches

Have you ever seen something get sent out, beauty gurus try it, rave about it, and you think it seems too good to be true? So then you have to try it and figure out for yourself if this is as life changing as they say? Yeah? Always. Same here - I'm so intrigued by product reviews and so it's no surprise that I went out and grabbed this the second I saw it in a PR unboxing. Let me go a little more into detail... I don't think it's any secret that I'm absolutely OBSESSED with lipsticks. My collection is ever growing, and I still don't have all the shades.... it's shocking, really. You'd think I could make a rainbow out of my lipsticks - and while I can, it's never enough. I'm continually hunting down lipsticks of all sorts just to find "the one". The one that's my color, my style, the finish I like, has an amazing formula, and so on. Well, what if I told you I found a 2 in 1 lipstick??? I know, I'm sounding like an adver
